The Metatron includes 48 cages of 100 m² and 2 m high each in which the climatic conditions can be handled (temperature, hygrometry and solar radiation). The units are connected to each other by corridors allowing organisms to pass from one unit to another. Metatron is used to test the effects of climate on population dynamics, particularly in the context of global change and fragmentation.
