This service consists of 12 mesocosms (experimental bags with a volume of about 5000 L each) that allow in situ hypothesis tests to be carried out. They can be deployed, in whole or in part, near the INRAE station in Thonon on the lake Léman, or on other lakes if authorizations are granted. The bags are made of reinforced polyethylene (diameter: 1.5 m; height: 5 m), with flotation system and safety markings.
