The PRISM platform (Multi-modal Imaging and Spectroscopy Research Platform) is under the supervision of INRAE, the University of Rennes 1 and the University of Angers. This platform has several sites in Rennes and Angers. PRISM is part of the Biogenouest network and is IBiSA certified (Biology, Health and Agronomy Infrastructure).
The PRISM platform includes Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and NMR spectrometry equipment. It offers expertise in:
- In vivo imaging of different animal models (bird, mammal, fish, crustacean, bivalve),
- MRI imaging and NMR spectroscopy of plants,
- Molecular NMR spectroscopy of tissues and biological extracts.
While the vast majority of accesses involve moving the study objects to the platform site, it also has a mobile low field NMR Lab that is operational for on-site measurements.
